• Dream journal entries — text and voice content you record in the app.
• Account information — name and preferences provided during onboarding.
• Usage data — app interactions, feature usage, and session data for analytics.
• Device information — device type, operating system version, and app version.
• Purchase information — subscription status managed via RevenueCat. We do not store payment card details.
• Notification preferences — reminder times and notification settings you configure.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

• Provide and improve the dream journaling and AI analysis features.
• Personalise your in-app experience based on your preferences.
• Send you reminders and notifications you have opted into.
• Process and manage your subscription.
• Analyse aggregate usage patterns to improve the app (no individual profiling).
• Respond to your support requests.

3. AI-Powered Analysis

Dream entries you submit for analysis are sent to an AI service (Anthropic) to generate insights. These entries are processed solely to produce your personal analysis and are not used to train AI models. We recommend avoiding including sensitive personal information beyond your dream content.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with trusted third-party services strictly necessary to operate the app:

• Anthropic — AI dream analysis processing.
• RevenueCat — subscription management.
• Firebase / Firestore — secure cloud storage of your journal data.
• Analytics providers — aggregate, anonymised usage analytics.

All third-party partners are bound by their own privacy policies and applicable data protection laws.

5. Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Profile section of the app. Upon deletion, your data is permanently removed within 30 days.

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's Privacy

Lucidos is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data.
• Withdraw consent for data processing where consent is the legal basis.
